Welcome to the River United Methodist Church. We are a new congregation in southeast Forsyth county. Learn more about us on the pages of this website.
Where are we headed?
Our goal is to have an impact on the lives of individuals and the life of the community through worship, fellowship, study and service. We want to help guide all people to transforming relationship to God in Jesus Christ. Then we want to transform the world around us through service and acts of love.
Why The River?
A river is life-giving, nourishing to its vicinity, and has a transformative effect on the terrain surrounding it.
We hope to have the same effect. We want to create an environment in which people can be nourished through a relationship to God in Jesus Christ. Then we want to impact the terrain around us, creating a healthy community and better world.
